Well, social media doesn’t want the “CP Music Movement” so, that won’t be happening, but here’s where the idea started, for the record:

This is a quick note to say that I am going to start featuring examples of conscious and positive pop-format music. I am doing this to starting creating a distinction between music that is for entertainment and music that is for growth of the soul or for healing/evolving the collective human mindset.

There are tons of artists out there with something important and meaningful to say beyond their own ego-based agendas or self-centered stories, so I want to act as a lighthouse and beacon for those who do.

To find these artists that are beyond my own purview, I have applied to start taking submission via SubmitHub. (Of course they rejected me, but it got the idea going!)

In the coming days following this initial article, I will be making is a list of my favorite inspiring albums with a mostly conscious or overarchingly positive message, but for now…

music with a specific intention:

To raise consciousness.
To raise vibration.
To awaken.
To challenge.
To uplift.
To break through.
To raise.
To wake.
To infuse light.

Not to relate.
Not to commiserate.
Not to sympathize.
Not to placate.
Not to intoxicate.
Not to numb.
Not to keep complacent.
Not to entertain.
Not to distract.
Not to escape.
Not to darken.

Who Are CP Music Artists?

While some artists are all-around conscious, the CP music label is more appropriately applied per-song, as artists can create a multitude of songs, both positive and negative and both conscious and unconscious.
