Chad Rising is a mystic/visionary recording artist and songwriter who has been infusing light and consciousness into popular styles of music since 2010.
Growing up in a typical suburban town outside of Philadelphia, he had what most would consider a typical childhood, but also a clear gift for music and the performing arts, and an awareness that something was off about his world and the people in it, there was something he felt and sensed, but others did not.
Underneath this eccentric but normal-enough child was a conscious and awakened soul, remembering from an early age what it came to do: cultivate and protect the flame of consciousness and positive messages in popular music through Chad’s own music, the proliferation and amplification of other artists’ positive pop music, and through other forms of written or recorded communication and documentation.
The soul of the artist known currently as Chad Rising had donned various pseudonyms over the years, only adopting the moniker “Chad Rising” in early 2024, as a proclamation that we, as human and divine beings of light, are always rising. This name change was a milestone indicating that the final stage of stepping into his purpose had arrived, and that the real work of this lifetime was just beginning.
Chad’s music comes down to one thing: empowering the listener. In an age where most of the popular music being promoted to the masses is actually designed to indoctrinate, placate or shallowly entertain the listener; Chad’s songs are designed to energize, uplift and unlock higher levels of consciousness in the listener, helping them live a more fulfilling life.
He is perpetually driven to produce this specific kind of music/song because he sees that the current popular music landscape does not offer divinely-inspired artists to look up to, and wants future generations to have the same encouraging music he had when he was growing up; artists like his “big three”: Michael Jackson, Savage Garden and SafetySuit.
The best way to learn about Chad’s vision is to listen to and read his lyrics. In an age where lyrics are an after thought or are mostly skin-deep, Chad has doubled down on depth, metaphor, vocabulary, and rhythm; crafting lyrics with only the highest intention and clarity for the benefit of the listener and society at large.
